About The Scale-Able Project

SCALE-ABLE is a new project designed to establish a sustainable service that empowers scalable companies to enhance their growth potential through corporate collaborations. Its objective is to unlock the underused potential that can be achieved through cross-border systematic matchmaking and collaboration between corporations and scaling technology companies from Estonia, Finland, and Sweden.

The project consists of four workshops and tailored matchmaking events that will be held across the participating countries. The unique matchmaking method developed by Ignite Sweden will be utilized to align companies.

The SCALE-ABLE project is driven by Ignite Sweden, Norrköping Science Park, and SISP – Swedish Incubators and Science Parks (Sweden), Tehnopol (Estonia), and Business Turku (Finland). This 2.5-year project is funded by the European Union’s Central Baltic Interreg Programme 2021–2027.

Important information for startups and scaleups

  • This event is funded by the European Union’s Central Baltic Interreg Programme 2021–2027. This implies that only startups and scaleups from the Central Baltic area are eligible to participate. In Sweden, this area encompasses the following regions: Gävleborg, Gotland, Örebro, Östergötland, Stockholm, Södermanland, Uppsala, and Västmanland.
  • It is important that you indicate which of the challenges you target when you apply to this matchmaking session. The list will be available a week before applications for scaling companies close. Please note that we cannot guarantee that you will get any matches at this event.
  • Your participation in the matchmaking is made possible thanks to the funding we receive from Vinnova (referred to as “verifieringsmedel” in Swedish) to support the commercialization of your innovation. Upon confirmation that your company has been matched with a corporate or public organization, our team will reach out to you with detailed instructions on the next steps. Startups established outside Sweden are exempt from this process.
