Sweden Korea Startup Matchday

The Sweden – Korea Startup Matchday is returning for the second time and will connect innovative Swedish startups with South Korean corporates to collectively work together to find solutions for innovation challenges.  

CJ Corporate, Doosan Group, Hyundai CRADLE, LG Future Home (LG Electronics), LG Innotek, Samsung Ventures and SK Discovery have all confirmed their participation in the matchmaking.

The event is organized by Ignite Sweden, Business Sweden, the Embassy of Sweden in South Korea and funded by Vinnova – Sweden’s Innovation Agency as part of the Sweden-Korea Innovation Initiative.

Please note there will also an exciting opportunity in 2024 for a limited number of startups to participate in an in-person followup event in Korea in 2024 to continue discussions and solidify your working relationship.

It is important that you indicate which of the challenges you target when you apply to this matchmaking session. Please note that we cannot guarantee that you will get any matches at this event. This event is exclusive for startups established in Sweden.
Your participation in the matchmaking is made possible by the funding we receive from Vinnova (referred to as “verifieringsmedel” in Swedish) to support the commercialization of your innovation. Upon receiving confirmation that your startup has been matched with a corporate or public organization, our team will reach out to you with detailed instructions on the next steps.
