This week’s startup is Mimbly, which develops sustainable water solutions. Do you know that 25% of the water consumption in our households goes to our laundry? This Gothenburg- based company has created an add on water-recycling system for professional laundry machines that recycles up to 90% of the water, saves energy and captures microplastic.
– We work with using our resources in a better way. We digitalize this so we can share the knowledge and spread awareness about the problems. We capture microplastics and we decrease the Co2 emissions as well, explains their founder and CEO Isabella Palmgren.
Mimbly targets many Sustainable Development Goals such 6 (clean water and sanitation), 7 (affordable and clean energy), 11 (sustainable cities and communities), 12 (responsible consumption and production) and 14 (life below water).
