How much renewable energy does your company actually use? The Impact Startup of this week is Renbloc, which develops a comprehensive and transparent solution for tracing and verifying sources of energy, from production to consumption.
– We visualise the energy data from your company and analyze it. Then we can use it to produce interactive CSR-report”, explains their co-founder Gustaf Svensson.
This data is of great value for any company that is evaluating a future investment in renewable energy.
– We believe that the best way to get companies to invest more in renewables is to show them how renewable they actually are. For instance, if you think that you are 100% renewable, you don’t see the value in making more investments. But if you find out that you are 50-60%, you create an incentive to invest more”, says Gustaf.
Their solution targets four Sustainable Development Goals: 7 (affordable and clean energy), 9 (industry, innovation and infrastructure), 11 (sustainable cities and communities), and 13 (climate action).
