How many companies say that they would like to work towards diversity and gender equality, but they don’t know how to?

This week’s startup is Vkna, which develops digital tools for making it easier for companies to set up long-term work with gender equality and diversity in a more efficient and flexible way as well as engaging and inclusive for all of their staff.

The Uminova Innovation company aims to contribute to a more diverse and healthy workplaces in Sweden and around the world.

The implementation of their tool has shown positive results. It has promoted a more open culture environment, it has improved the employees’ health, and last but definitely not least it has also boosted creativity.

– With diversity comes creativity and better ideas, admits co-founder Emma Möller.

Their solution targets four Sustainable Development Goals: 5 (achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls), 8 (decent work and economic growth), 10 (Reduce inequality within and among countries), and 16 (promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development).
