BlinkIn win Global Startup Pitch Contest at Sweden Innovation Days

The German startup pitched their innovative AI technology that aims to help companies better understand and solve technical problems, and even automate tech support.

Founded two and a half years ago, BlinkIn is still in its early stages but already taking a global approach by working in 48 countries. They aim to provide the world with a help button through visual AI technology that allows automated tech support through a mobile phone app.

They were one of nine companies from nine different countries that participated in the Global Startup Pitch Contest during Sweden Innovation Days. Each company provided a one minute pitch video before having a live ‘Swedish Fika’ session to talk to other participants about what their company aimed to achieve.

Co-founder Josef Süß says though they wanted to win the contest, they were mostly excited to join so many like minded companies at Sweden Innovation Days.

“We’re an early-stage startup and for us it’s about learning and improving – and getting exposure. So we were thrilled to be announced winner on such a great stage, knowing that it will open doors for us.

The prize for winning the contest is a trip to Sweden (when the situation allows), funded by Vinnova, to form stronger international connections and learn more about the business landscape here.

“Being invited to Sweden – whenever it will be possible – is a very sweet cherry on top! Some of us have already been to Sweden and absolutely love the country and also know a little bit about the business opportunities there. We’re hoping that we’ll be able to meet with our potential customers in person and also create new opportunities through that trip,” says Josef.

BlinkIn is also featured on the first European AI Startup Landscape and participated in many other parts of the Sweden Innovation Days including the Matchday.

“We’ve soaked it all in from the kick-off. Great panels and presentations! We were also invited to several 1:1 meetings with potential partners and customers. All the conversations were fantastic and we can’t wait to continue the journey of “Giving the world a help button” with them.”
