Sweden Innovation Days will showcase Sweden as a leading AI nation

At Sweden Innovation Days on 17-19 November, representatives from the national innovation ecosystem, industry, public sector, academia and startups will meet key innovation players from ten countries, including Canada, Germany and South Korea. The event aims to establish more innovation collaborations within applied AI.

Sweden Innovation Days is a three-day event focusing on AI that will take place on 17-19 November. The event aims to establish relationships with key innovation players across the world that can lead to more innovation collaborations within applied AI.

The program includes keynote lectures, workshops and a matchmaking session. The event will gather representatives from the innovation ecosystem, industry, public sector, academia and startups from Sweden and other countries such as Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Israel, Japan, South Korea, and the USA.

Three days with AI on focus

The topic for the first day of the event, on 17 November, is transforming Sweden in the rising era of AI. The program is divided into different tracks of interest for Sweden, the industry and the innovation ecosystem. We will highlight the best of the Swedish innovation environments while emphasizing the importance of international cooperation. The different tracks will include AI for industry, healthcare, sustainability and the fight of climate change, the future of mobility and democracy.

On 18 November it’s time for The Ignite Conference. The focus of the second day of the event is the success factors that make it possible that Swedish industry leaders innovate by collaborating with AI startups.

– In Sweden we strongly believe that we are better together. During The Ignite Conference, we will share five great examples of how small, innovative startups and large corporations have achieved great results by innovating together, says Stina Lantz, Program Manager at Ignite Sweden.

The world’s largest matchmaking session between enterprises and startups will take place on the third day on 19 November. Over 75 and public sector organizations from 10 countries will meet over 120 startups and scaleups in curated meetings that aim to initiate commercial collaborations. This global matchmaking is arranged by Ignite Sweden.

Co-hosted by leading innovation hubs

Sweden Innovation Days is co-hosted by innovation clusters, incubators and science parks all across Sweden, from Malmö in the south to Umeå in the north. These are Automation Region, Create Business Incubator, Kista Science City, LEAD, Lindholmen Science Park, Linköping Science Park, Minc, Sahlgrenska Science Park, Sting, THINGS, and Uminova Innovation.

The national hubs will join forces with leading innovation clusters from Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Israel, Japan, South Korea, and the USA.

Sweden Innovation Days are organized by Sweden’s innovation agency Vinnova, AI Innovation of Sweden, Ignite Sweden, SISP -Swedish Incubators & Science Parks and the Swedish Energy Agency.
